Jim Harrison founded Highland Sales, LLC in January 1991 and established a successful and well respected manufacturer’s rep firm specializing in building materials, including windows, doors, millwork, and hardware.  Based in Florida, Highland Sales leveraged local expertise and industry relationships to connect quality manufacturers with the state’s growing market.  In 2025, after over 3 decades of leadership, Jim retired leaving behind a legacy of integrity, service, and an impeccable reputation within the building material industry.

 

In 2024, Ryan Stead joined Highland Sales as a business partner with the intent of assuming ownership and continuing all the attributes that Jim had built over the years to make Highland Sales successful.  Ryan brings 25+ years of industry experience and relationships with him and opens up the company’s opportunities to explore other areas in the building material market.  His professional and calm demeanor allows Highland Sales to continue to be a well sought after option for manufacturers who look to partner with a solid representative in Florida.
